‘The Sound of Music is the heart-warming story of would-be nun Maria, who is sent away from her convent to become reluctant governess to the seven regimented children of Captain Georg Von Trapp. Maria introduces the children to music, transforming their lives and her own as she also finds herself falling in love with the captain.
With music by Richard Rodgers and Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, this classic show is packed full of well-known songs including ‘Do-re-mi’, ‘My Favorite Things’, ‘Climb Ev’ry Mountain’ and several others which the audience will quite easily find themselves humming along to.
